The Asian two rivals India and Pakistan gear up the fire in the cricket world at the end of the year 2007. Both teams are confident to win the most prestigious series. And thus two teams re-shuffle their team to get success.
In India, Rahul Dravid and Dinesh Karthik have been left out of the Indian squad for the first two one-dayers against Pakistan. Virender Sehwag makes a comeback, as does Gautam Gambhir, who recently recovered from a groin strain, while Uttar Pradesh allrounder Praveen Kumar is the only new face. The series kicks off on November 5, with the first ODI in Guwahati.
In Pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar included with the team to shine their bowling action and after rejecting the captaincy twice in his career, Pakistan batsman Younis Khan has accepted the responsibility of taking over as the vice-captain for the tour of India, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced today.Younis takes over from opener Salman Butt, who held the post through the two-Test series against South Africa.
